I truly enjoy the strange dissociative elements of Pink Floyd’s stuff—and this, beyond the musical aspect, is truly a treat. The eating sounds, the internal-stream-of-consciousness-monologue on breakfast items, the echoic sounds of moving around a kitchen, etc. It all contributes to that fine writual-conducive aura. I am grateful to exist in a world where this stuff also exists. 3.984/5
*Circuitry (2002) – Experimental Breakcore & Old School Dark Jungle DJ Mix*
Only two-and-a-half mins. in and I can already tell this one is going to be excellent for the writual. Tentative 3.96/5
*Gaia/RAE*
Interesting DnB mix here in the form of a fictional video game. The tracks are clean and punchy and sparkly. Very good for the writual. 4.217/5
Pink Floyd's *Atom Heart Mother Suite*
Some more hauntingly good Pink Floyd. Amazing utility for the writual. 4.659/5
*Variant Theme* From The Vanilla Sky Soundtrack
Easily one of my favorite melodies of all time. Though, listen here: you have to give it some time. Once you get to the 2:12ish marker with the guitar break-in, oh my god. You have to understand. You have to give songs time, sometime: sometimes… they become even more beautiful and even better. Trust me. This melody was with me when I was in a very dark place and crying my eyes out every night. It understood me in a way very few things have been able to understand me, it feels like. Easily one I will never forget or forsake. 4.879/5
Pink Floyd's *Grantchester Meadows*
So apparently I’d had this one confused with Green is The Colour; it’s my actual favorite song, although the live version performed on the BBC was much better to my liking. Absolutely love this. 4.452/5.
"ethereal breaks *:・゚✧ 【a jungle + dnb mix】"
Was listening to this while writing TGD 9, and I just absolutely found myself dancing like a demon to it. Absolute love, here. Exactly what you want to see—what you wanna hear. Beautiful. Lovely. Yez. 4.365/5.
*Breakcore Mix To Dissociate To*
I find this one hauntingly good. As I was writing bits of TGD VI to it, I found myself dancing a little. It is truly something else, energy-wise. 4.157/5.
Pink Floyd's *Green is The Colour*
This is my new favorite Pink Floyd song. I truly love it. It is peaceful. It feels like coming out of a cocoon into sunlight with the banks of a lake nearby glistening atop the water. I don’t know how to save my life, but I can try to. 4.763/5.
"Sacred Geometry in Motion: Mind-Blowing Fractal Visuals for Divine Connection"
The visuals here along with the music provide me with a kind of ethereal energy I can’t put too well into words. It makes me feel nice though, on a core plane, in a serious way. I really love watching the visuals, although they do make me wistful for taking psychedelics.
Pink Floyd's *Echoes*
Classssssic. Excellent dissociative elements for The Writual.
Pink Floyd's *Mother*
This Pink Floyd song is a significant one to me about the need for individuation.
Hiroshi Yoshimura's *Adelaide* [Stretched]
I love slowed versions of good music. This one is particularly uplifting. Good for the Writual. It sort of washes over you. 4.179
Hiroshi Yoshimura's *Wet Land*
I love the sounds of water as much as the next guy, but this is on a whole other level. Very relaxing and good for zone-getting. I feel at once in touch and out and away, somewhere calm but true. I have no idea about hertz, but this video purports the audio to be at 432 HZ. The Free Dictionary defines hertz as “a unit of frequency equal to one cycle per second.” Maybe I should learn about that. I’m a huge fan of the dissociative trippy atmospheres Pink Floyd is able to put into the soundscapes of their music. I love listening to them while freewriting. Particularly the song “echoes.” There is a kind of essence to it that really sticks with you. I give this a 4.122/5
Hiroshi Yoshimura's *Soundscape 1: Surround*
The peacefulness of this one really gets to me. It seems good for the writual process. At least for zoning. Perrrfect to zone out to. There are hints in it of hope and floating and water and bliss. And white feathers on scattering light across chlorinated pool surfaces. Very good. I give it a 3.754/5.
